Fall is here, which means time for pumpkin! For all of those pumpkin pie cravers, this dip provides the perfect sweet, spice with tons of pumpkin flavor but without the guilt. This is the perfect substitution for a dessert or snack when you are craving pumpkin. This dip is very easy to make and can be dipped with almost anything! I really like to dip graham crackers, marshmallows and pretzels but you can get creative!!
To add to the fall festivities I served the pumpkin dip with warm apple cider. Feel free to spike the cider with some cinnamon whiskey for some extra spice!
Ingredients:
1 15 oz can pumpkin
2 T maple syrup or agave
1 tub cool whip (I use low fat)
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
**If you don’t have pumpkin pie spice for 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice combine 1/2 tsp cinnamon with 1/4 tsp of cloves and 1/4 tsp allspice.
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and mix well
